Voren's Aviaries has been the only facility to successfully produce yellow-mutation Red-lored Amazons (Amazona autumnalis). Pictured below are two distinct yellow mutations that are believed to be different versions of what is known as a cinnamon yellow. This is a yellow female with a distinct green wash to the overall yellow coloration of the body and wing feathers. This beautiful Amazon of a different bloodline is pure yellow with no melanin pigment in the feet and when hatched, has red eyes. The center of the wing coverts are almost white. The fact that the flights have a slight tan coloration is what lets us know that this is not a lutino.
